About

A journal with a name on it.

Publisher Success is written by Andreas Quintana for indie authors and small presses who plan to keep publishing books over the long run, not to push out a pile of titles.

What this journal is

Publisher Success is a small editorial journal. It publishes notes on four subjects: using AI with a person still responsible, running a catalogue of books on Amazon KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing), new ways to publish, and marketing that starts from the book and its reader.

Each note is meant to be useful on its own. Where a claim depends on a platform rule or a report, the note links to it.

Who writes it

Andreas Quintana writes and edits the journal. He runs Quintana Marketing and is based in Mallorca, Spain.

Who it is for

Indie authors and small presses who want to publish carefully and keep their books in good order. It suits people who would rather plan a release than chase a trend.

It is not a place for income promises, ranking claims, or shortcuts.

How the journal is written

A named person is responsible for every book and every note. Claims come with sources where a source exists. Nothing here promises earnings, rankings, or a typical result, and the journal does not publish affiliate figures.

If you spot a mistake, please write to us. The Contact page explains how.

Two names, two things

Publisher Success is this journal. The Publishing Success Accelerator is a separate community on Skool. The journal mentions it in a few places, and only where it fits. Its free 7-day trial opens 1 October 2026.

Royalties Bot 2.0 is a royalty-report tool. It is not what this site sells. Support for it is routed from Contact.

What to expect

Notes are added as they are written, and each is filed under one of four desks. There is no fixed publishing schedule.
